Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and resilient microservices supporting shared platform capabilities.
- Develop foundational services for authentication, authorization, onboarding, RBAC, reporting, auditing, notifications, and platform APIs.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, and observability practices using Datadog and related tools.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Improve deployment pipelines, system reliability, developer efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Provide technical leadership in system design, architecture, engineering best practices, and cross-team integrations.
- Participate in operational reviews and post-mortems, drive incident follow-up actions, and reduce technical debt.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-ready, cloud-based systems focused on performance, security, and scalability.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of C#, Go, or Java.
- Experience developing API services, distributed systems, and microservice architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and cloud-native application design.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, including EKS or GKE, and Docker.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, AWS CDK, and Terragrunt.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog, Prometheus, or similar monitoring tools.
- Prior experience with platform, core, or shared services teams is highly desirable.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, communicate tradeoffs, collaborate across teams, and mentor others.
