Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and delivery of enterprise agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle.
- Establish technical patterns for coding agents, harnesses, reusable libraries, and automated engineering workflows.
- Design secure Model Context Protocol servers and integration frameworks for enterprise tools and data.
- Define standards for evaluating, testing, monitoring, and governing AI-generated software.
- Guide teams building scalable platform solutions with Python, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies.
- Resolve complex architecture, integration, debugging, performance, and reliability challenges.
- Shape technical roadmaps aligned with platform investments and engineering and business priorities.
- Lead code and design reviews and improve quality, maintainability, security, and operational readiness.
- Partner with implementation and client-facing teams to diagnose needs and deliver solutions.
- Mentor engineers and communicate technical practices across teams and organizational boundaries.
Requirements
- Expert software engineering skills across application architecture, integration, testing, and production operations.
- Advanced proficiency with Python, TypeScript, or comparable platform-development languages.
- Experience leading complex software initiatives involving multiple systems, teams, and stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated success building developer platforms, coding frameworks, automation systems, or reusable libraries.
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, distributed systems, APIs, security, and software reliability.
- Ability to define technical standards and influence decisions without relying on direct authority.
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced experience with agentic programming, coding agents, or large language model application architecture is a bonus.
- Experience developing Model Context Protocol servers, tools, registries, or governance patterns is a bonus.
- Knowledge of Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, or comparable AI engineering tools is a bonus.
- Experience establishing evaluation, observability, and safety controls for enterprise AI workflows is a bonus.
- Client-facing engineering experience and experience contributing to long-term technology strategy or enterprise engineering standards are bonuses.
