Responsibilities
- Write, review, and own production-quality code as a hands-on contributor.
- Contribute to team- and system-level architectural decisions and technical direction.
- Use AI tools and frameworks to improve development speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Implement modern engineering practices including infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
- Break down complex technical work into deliverable increments and remove technical blockers.
- Collaborate with QA, product owners, architects, designers, program management, platform teams, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to cross-team technical strategy through Architecture Decision Records and evolutionary architecture practices.
- Champion test-driven development, behaviour-driven development, automated testing, refactoring, and debt reduction.
- Design and implement infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code.
- Support monitoring, logging, alerting, system reliability, performance, and security-by-design.
- Communicate technical concepts, risks, progress, and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language, including JavaScript or Java, with strong knowledge of frontend and backend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AI tools, frameworks, and platforms applied to software delivery.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modelling.
- Working fluency with TDD, pair programming, continuous integration, and refactoring practices.
- Working knowledge of security principles including secrets management and least privilege.
- Right to work and live in India, with ability to commute to the Bengaluru office.
