Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction for critical software, middleware, or hardware projects across multiple platforms.
- Perform complex development, design, implementation, architecture specification, and maintenance activities.
- Evaluate and approve technical solutions and team deliverables, including testing for functionality, technical limitations, and security.
- Research and resolve technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurring technology problems.
- Communicate project issues and change impacts to stakeholders and influence technical decisions.
- Mentor IT staff, identify training needs, and ensure adoption of technical standards.
- Review and create technical documentation, standards, processes, and diagrams.
- Participate in design, code, and test inspections, milestone reviews, project meetings, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience, including at least three years of development experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of IT development methodology, architecture design, technical standards, and information security policies and procedures.
