Responsibilities
- Own and execute the yearly Salesforce DevOps strategy in partnership with Salesforce engineering leads.
- Design, implement, optimize, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Build automated deployment workflows and pipelines as code for continuous integration and delivery.
- Develop automation to identify and remediate configuration and code issues early in the delivery lifecycle.
- Manage test environments, including setup, data management, integrated-system coordination, and quality gates.
- Coordinate Salesforce code, metadata, and data migrations across environments.
- Maintain Salesforce environment inventory, monitor environment health, and perform initial troubleshooting.
- Manage production releases with minimal downtime while following configuration, change, and release management processes.
- Promote metrics-driven DevOps, automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Use Python, Groovy, and modern AI productivity tools to automate and enhance engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 3+ years focused on Salesforce DevOps.
- Hands-on experience creating, configuring, optimizing, and troubleshooting Jenkins pipelines.
- Experience designing GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD automation.
- Strong Git branching, version control, release workflow, and end-to-end CI/CD expertise.
- Salesforce deployment experience with Metadata API, SFDX, release management, and production deployments.
- Experience coordinating code, metadata, and data deployments across multiple environments.
- Strong Python and Groovy scripting skills for automation, orchestration, and tool integration.
- Hands-on infrastructure management experience supporting DevOps activities and strong AWS integration knowledge.
- Experience integrating automated tests, unit tests, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing production releases, monitoring environment health, and performing L1 troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and global collaboration skills.
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code is expected.
