Responsibilities
- Own and execute the yearly Salesforce DevOps strategy in partnership with Salesforce engineering leads.
- Design, implement, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Develop pipelines as code and automation to identify and remediate configuration and code issues early in the delivery lifecycle.
- Manage test environments, including setup, data management, integrated-system coordination, and quality gates.
- Coordinate Salesforce code, metadata, and data migrations across environments using Salesforce deployment capabilities.
- Maintain environment inventory, monitor environment health, perform initial troubleshooting, and manage production releases with minimal downtime.
- Drive metrics-based DevOps practices, continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with global consultants, development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of overall IT experience, including at least 3 years focused on Salesforce DevOps.
- Hands-on Jenkins experience covering pipeline creation, job configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD automation, with strong Git branching, version-control, and release-workflow knowledge.
- End-to-end CI/CD expertise, including automated tests and quality gates.
- Salesforce deployment experience with Metadata API, SFDX, production deployments, and release and change management.
- Strong Python and Groovy scripting skills for automation, orchestration, and tool integration.
- Experience building, managing, and maintaining infrastructure supporting DevOps activities, including AWS integrations and deployments.
- Experience managing production releases with minimal downtime, monitoring environment health, and performing L1 troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and global collaboration skills.
- Experience leveraging AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is valued.
