Responsibilities
- Design Pega applications, process flows, SLAs, skill-based routing, class structures, data models, indexing, and reporting.
- Develop reusable Pega components and application functionality using Pega frameworks including CS, CSHC, CWS, and CMF.
- Integrate applications with databases and external systems through SOAP, REST, HTTP connectors, JMS, MQ, services, listeners, batch processes, and agents.
- Implement application security using access groups, roles, and privileges.
- Apply code reviews, Pega guardrail compliance, AES, SMA, deployment, environment, and project-metrics practices.
- Develop UI and reporting elements and apply Pega decision management techniques.
- Perform application development and system integration, with emphasis on new development rather than predominantly maintenance work.
- Handle client calls independently and manage or coordinate multiple Scrum teams.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required, with an overall minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Must have experience with the Pega Platform.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Python, and Pega application development is required.
- Experience with Pega frameworks CS, CSHC, CWS, and CMF is required.
- Experience with application integration, SOAP/REST services, JMS, MQ, HTTP connectors, listeners, batch processes, and agents is required.
- Experience with security design, Pega ruleset hierarchy, reusable components, UI, reporting, deployments, and decision management is required.
- Experience with prompt engineering is required.
- Strong communication, independent client-handling ability, pressure management, and team-management skills are required.
- Mandatory certifications are CSA and CSSA; CLSA Part 1 is preferred.
- Certifications in Anthropic, AWS, or Google, React.js/Node.js experience, and upgrade experience are preferred.
