Responsibilities
- Implement and support improvements that increase efficiency, software quality, and delivery speed.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps best practices across development and operations.
- Work with development, QA, IT operations, information security, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Use containers, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, and Terraform to support cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Translate stakeholder and business requirements into technical implementations.
- Act as a business subject-matter expert and support efficient DevOps team practices.
- Manage and influence stakeholders to ensure services operate effectively and work is prioritized appropriately.
- Use monitoring tools to support system reliability and performance.
- Travel as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Extensive experience with DevOps tooling, containers, containerization, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
- Experience with multiple database ecosystems, architecture, and integration.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes container orchestration and Helm package management.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders and transfer business requirements into technical implementations.
- Willingness to travel.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Bash scripting, ArgoCD, Java with Spring, Kafka, Liquibase, Jenkins, GitOps, and database schema change management is beneficial.
