Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Golang, and Java.
  • Design and iterate on LLM-powered agentic AI workflows involving RAG, tool-use orchestration, and SRE automation.
  • Contribute to Qualcomm’s agentic SRE platform by integrating observability data with AI-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features while maintaining application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications and provide Tier 3 production on-call support.
  • Evaluate and implement OpenTelemetry for standardized telemetry collection and portable observability.
  • Support internal stakeholders with observability platform onboarding, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and monitoring optimization.
  • Maintain code quality through development best practices and code reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role in large business environments.
  • Minimum qualifications require 3+ years of IT-related work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years without a bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency in Golang, Python, and Java, with experience in algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as Flask.
  • Experience with SRE practices including monitoring, alerting, incident response, reliability engineering, and telemetry optimization using Datadog or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted automation.
  • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB and web servers such as Nginx.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Preferred qualifications include hands-on agentic AI development, RAG pipelines, vector search, tool-use orchestration, OpenTelemetry instrumentation and collector configuration, and large-scale distributed systems experience.
  • AWS DevOps Professional, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, or AWS Developer Associate certification is preferred.
