Responsibilities
- Define and evolve technical architecture strategies, standards, patterns, and best practices for AI initiatives.
- Evaluate AI technologies, agentic frameworks, automation platforms, feasibility, technical risk, and total cost of ownership.
- Coordinate engineering, data, product, and delivery teams across multiple AI workstreams.
- Facilitate architecture reviews, governance forums, design checkpoints, and resolution of technical dependencies and conflicts.
- Prototype, build, deploy, and iterate on agents, automations, integrations, and AI proofs of concept.
- Own end-to-end technical quality and production readiness of AI solutions.
- Define and monitor architecture health metrics covering scalability, reliability, cost efficiency, and security posture.
- Ensure data governance, responsible AI, and security standards are followed across AI implementations.
- Provide technical escalation support and mentor technical teams and solution architects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software or solution architecture, including depth in AI/ML or agentic systems architecture.
- Experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions such as LLM-based systems, automation platforms, Agentforce, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, integration patterns, and platform scalability principles.
- Ability to operate strategically and as a hands-on technical orchestrator across multiple teams.
- Experience with Salesforce platform architecture is highly valued.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent architecture certification is preferred.
- Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, or AI risk frameworks is preferred.
- Experience mentoring architects and senior engineers is preferred.
- Exposure to multi-org, multi-cloud, or complex enterprise topology environments is preferred.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents in real-world settings is preferred.
- Practical experience with Gemini, Cursor, and Claude for coding, prototyping, or workflow automation is preferred.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and agentic tool-use patterns is preferred.
- Comfort working directly in code or configuration to build and ship solutions is preferred.
