Responsibilities
- Define and maintain solution architecture, technical standards, design principles, and enterprise technology roadmaps.
- Lead architecture and design discussions across product, engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Architect and develop cloud-native enterprise solutions using Java, Spring Boot, containerization, microservices, and modern deployment patterns.
- Design scalable APIs, service contracts, enterprise integrations, database architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, design reviews, mentoring, and escalation support to development teams.
- Architect and integrate AI-powered enterprise applications using Palantir Foundry, Palantir AIP, Ontology, Workshop, generative AI, agentic AI, and RAG.
- Lead proofs of concept, architecture spikes, innovation initiatives, and evaluations of emerging technologies and AI platforms.
- Support AWS and/or Azure cloud architectures, deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, observability, and operational requirements.
- Design PostgreSQL data models and support schema migrations, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Define data integration and governance approaches and design messaging solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar technologies.
- Modernize legacy applications and migrate monolithic systems to microservices-based architectures while meeting security, governance, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Requirements
- 13+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, and enterprise application architecture.
- Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Java applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, service discovery, API gateways, event-driven architectures, asynchronous communication, and distributed transaction management.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs, enterprise integrations, service contracts, monolithic and microservices architectures, and legacy modernization programs.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, Palantir AIP, Ontology, Workshop, and AI-powered enterprise applications.
- Good understanding of generative AI, agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation, AI workflow architectures, and AI/LLM integration.
- Strong PostgreSQL experience, including data modeling, database schemas, migrations, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins.
- Experience with enterprise messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and AWS SNS.
- Experience conducting POCs, technical feasibility studies, architecture spikes, emerging-technology evaluations, and innovation initiatives.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, architectural leadership, technical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
