Base Salary
$99k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present, demonstrate, and support the selling of Esri software and solutions as part of an account team.
- Build relationships with technical enterprise decision-makers and lead technical meetings that drive revenue.
- Serve as a technical leader for Esri technology and a subject matter expert in commercial industries.
- Understand customer business structures, workflows, third-party systems, and integration points.
- Design and propose complex GIS solutions and strategies aligned with customer business needs.
- Provide configuration guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices for Esri application deployment and system architecture.
- Design presentations and present to technical and non-technical audiences, executives, and conference attendees.
- Share knowledge and coach new team members on best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Esri technology, including map creation, spatial analysis, and web application configuration.
- 3+ years of experience in Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, or Financial Services.
- Broad ArcGIS knowledge from an IT perspective, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
- Understanding of sales and business development processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot client issues involving Esri application deployment and system architecture.
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying database management system technology.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and Microsoft Azure or AWS environments.
- Experience integrating software solutions with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.
- Programming and scripting experience with Python and JavaScript.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25–50%.
- Preferred qualifications include real-time information stream integration, mobile, IoT, advanced analytics, data science, imagery, ETL workflows, system integration, dedicated and hybrid cloud architectures, and a master’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
