Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, high-performance ML platforms and real-time decision systems.
- Design end-to-end ML pipelines covering data ingestion, feature engineering, training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Set technical direction across multiple ML feature teams and provide hands-on mentorship through design reviews, code assessments, and performance tuning.
- Prototype advanced ML algorithms and translate research and industry trends into production solutions.
- Manage the full ML model lifecycle, including testing, deployment, monitoring, alerting, and automated retraining.
- Partner with data scientists, software engineers, operations, and product teams to integrate ML systems into production.
- Establish technical standards and ensure security, regulatory compliance, explainability, fairness, and bias mitigation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing production AIML systems.
- Extensive experience architecting large-scale data pipelines, real-time ML serving architectures, and end-to-end ML lifecycles.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience with Airflow, DBT, Kubernetes, Spark, MongoDB, Snowflake, Neo4j, Redis, cloud platforms, and modern feature stores.
- Significant experience with AWS, Azure, SageMaker, Azure ML, or comparable cloud and machine learning services.
- Proficiency with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar ML frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, fraud detection or risk modeling experience, production LLM deployment with RAG or fine-tuning, Graph Neural Networks, and model governance in a regulated industry.
