Base Salary

$115k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the technical roadmap for the Digital Personal Auto Sales and partner integration platforms.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, engineering teams, product teams, and other stakeholders on platform strategy and delivery.
  • Lead the architecture and design of resilient, scalable, highly available platform services across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Write feature code and automated tests, review code, support production systems, and manage deployment pipelines.
  • Develop incident response plans, runbooks, triage strategies, post-incident analyses, and production readiness practices.
  • Evaluate and implement technologies and tools for partner integration, compliance, visibility, and operational excellence.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, coaching, and trusted advice to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyze costs, forecast needs, support resource requirements, measure outcomes, and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Fluency in at least one modern programming language, with Go preferred and Java as a plus.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with architecture and design.
  • 6+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
  • 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service provider.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable, available, and reliable production systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, stateful service management, storage, networking, caches, key/value stores, load balancing, queues, DNS, and CDN technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of DevOps practices and on-premises and public-cloud network, compute, and storage technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture, IaaS, PaaS, Kubernetes, cloud efficiency, and observability.
  • Experience with incident management, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and open-source management and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices, data encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, and operational-excellence skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
