Base Salary
$122k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reliable APIs, web applications, services, integrations, and inventory-management solutions.
- Analyze requirements, design and code applications, investigate defects, and maintain and enhance existing systems.
- Develop and support interfaces with internal systems, technology teams, and external vendor applications.
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, cloud migration, test-driven development, and modern development processes.
- Perform peer code reviews, provide technical feedback, and contribute to design and development as part of a Scrum team.
- Drive build and release plans and deploy applications to production.
- Transition between application development and production support, including participation in rotating 24x7 support shifts.
- Work with business, infrastructure, and security teams on production enhancements and bug fixes.
- Build metrics, real-time alerting, reporting, and dashboards for uptime and performance visibility.
- Help evaluate architectural strategies, industry trends, corporate policies, and application design patterns.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the practice area.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Java and the Spring Boot framework, with additional programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C# considered a plus.
- Experience with backend relational databases, preferably Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with RESTful architecture, microservices, JSON, XML, and service integration using REST or SOAP.
- Experience with Amazon AWS services.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, testing tools, messaging middleware such as Kafka and SQS, and Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or other agile methodologies.
- Experience analyzing, designing, coding, testing, installing, and maintaining complex software programs.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling and how agents can accelerate design, coding, and testing workflows.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, application design patterns, metrics, monitoring, uptime, and performance practices.
- Experience with Oracle Retail Merchandising Applications such as RMS, RIB, or SIM is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, automation, and self-directed problem-solving skills.

- The annual base pay range is $121,500.00–$188,500.00, with offers dependent on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
- The role includes rotating 24x7 support shifts.
