Responsibilities
- Partner with sales and AWS teams to formulate and execute strategies that increase customer adoption of AWS and exceed revenue objectives.
- Own the technical relationship between customers and AWS, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Design and discuss scalable, flexible, resilient cloud architectures for customer applications, software, and services.
- Help customers build and migrate workloads to AWS and ensure successful cloud deployment.
- Educate customers through one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions and communicate the value of AWS.
- Capture and share best practices across the AWS Solutions Architect community.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Preferred: 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Preferred: experience working with end-user or developer communities.
- Preferred: experience architecting Linux/Unix and Windows infrastructure solutions, including server, load balancing, high availability/disaster recovery, and storage architectures.
