Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive design and implementation of cloud-native infrastructure for Azure Observability services across multiple environments.
- Own production-quality features end to end, including design, coding, validation, deployment, monitoring, and live-site support.
- Partner with infrastructure, observability, and platform teams to align dependencies, clarify ownership, and deliver supportable solutions.
- Participate in on-call and incident response and use live-site learnings to improve automation, telemetry, troubleshooting guides, and prevention mechanisms.
- Build systems for collecting, processing, storing, and analyzing monitoring and diagnostic data.
- Mentor developers and drive infrastructure capabilities with clear ownership and supportability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG-based solutions, and cloud-scale data platforms is preferred.
- Experience improving reliability, security, observability, networking, or operational excellence for live services is preferred.
- Experience with React, JavaScript, Knockout, C#, or similar programming languages is preferred.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $119,800-$234,700 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position will remain open for a minimum of 5 days and accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
