Base Salary
$120k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve scalable and highly reliable services.
- Improve engineering systems and practices for delivering services in complex cloud environments.
- Design and automate service-scale features and meet customer requirements.
- Investigate pre-production and production issues and implement and deploy fixes.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, typically one week every 6–8 weeks, within a secure facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access based on an SSBI with polygraph.
- Ability to pass required Microsoft, customer, government, and Microsoft Cloud background screening requirements.
- U.S. citizenship verification due to applicable government customer restrictions.
- Preferred: master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: understanding of CI/CD concepts and Git, exposure to Docker and Kubernetes, and experience supporting large-scale production services.
- Preferred: experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, reliability, availability, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Benefits
- Base pay range is USD $119,800–$234,700 per year across the U.S.; the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range is USD $160,200–$261,000 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
