Base Salary
$120k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable services and APIs for Agent Registry and governance experiences across Agent 365.
- Implement agent registration, inventory, lifecycle management, governance, and administration capabilities.
- Lead end-to-end delivery from technical design through implementation, deployment, and live-site operations.
- Build reliable, secure, extensible platform components supporting first-party and third-party integrations.
- Implement policy evaluation, auditability, metadata management, lifecycle controls, and enforcement workflows.
- Improve production service scalability, reliability, performance, security, and observability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and partner engineering teams.
- Participate in design reviews and architecture discussions and mentor engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, including coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable services, APIs, distributed systems, or cloud applications.
- Experience designing, developing, and operating production software and services.
- Experience delivering end-to-end solutions across multiple services or components.
- Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including coding, debugging, testing, performance optimization, and code quality.
- Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, data platforms, search technologies, or large-scale backend services.
- Experience developing cloud services and applications using C# and .NET.
- Experience with Azure, React, and modern web application development.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence technical decisions across teams.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800–$234,700 per year, with a separate range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
- Employment is subject to Microsoft Cloud Background Check screening upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
