Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced automotive SoC software platforms for AD/ADAS and central-compute ECUs.
  • Integrate, bring up, and debug automotive sensors including cameras, radar, lidar, sonar, and inertial sensors.
  • Develop image-processing, image-transfer, video-input, and video-output capabilities.
  • Implement system partitioning, hypervisors, and container-engine technology.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, product engineers, and other stakeholders to meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Assess software-development risks, identify roadblocks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience, including a minimum of 4 years in AD/ADAS sensor development and 3+ years in automotive or other low-level embedded-system domains.
  • Strong C/C++ development experience for automotive embedded systems and SoC software platforms.
  • Experience with POSIX operating systems, QNX, board support packages, middleware, hypervisors, container engines, and AD/ADAS technology stacks.
  • Experience with AD/ADAS sensor bring-up, integration, and debugging on automotive platforms.
  • Understanding of image processing, image transfer, video input/output handling, SDV enablers, zonal networks, central compute, automated driving, AI, machine learning, perception modules, MLOps, connected mobility, and OTA updates.
  • Experience with SoCs such as Qualcomm SA8650, Renesas RCAR, NVIDIA Orin, or NVIDIA Thor.
  • Knowledge of automotive SoC hardware and interfaces including Ethernet, USB, UFS, DisplayPort, PCIe, QUP, UART, SPI, I2C, inter-core communication, cameras, DDR, flash ROM, and MMU.
  • Understanding of Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR, CPU/GPU architectures, data structures, operating-system internals, multithreading, inter-process communication, and memory management.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Drive OS, hypervisor virtual platforms, V-Model, ASPICE, MISRA, ISO 26262, cybersecurity, and Agile frameworks is preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics, electrical block diagrams, and IC datasheets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, stakeholder-influence, and persuasion skills.
