Responsibilities

Lead board bring-up for new AD/ADAS high-performance compute hardware.
Integrate device drivers for sensors, peripherals, and high-speed interconnects.
Develop platform software, firmware, and low-level components for automotive applications.
Define system-level strategies for platform resource management across operating conditions and use cases.
Design and evolve platform abstractions supporting middleware and application teams across hardware generations.
Collaborate with hardware, SoC vendors, safety, and software teams to resolve platform issues.
Mentor junior engineers on platform software topics.
Debug, profile, and analyze embedded systems and platform behavior.

Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience with a master’s degree or 1 year of experience with a Ph.D., or relevant industrial experience.
Strong proficiency in C/C++, preferably modern C++, and Python.
Experience developing low-level systems software and firmware on embedded platforms.
Working knowledge of embedded software development in Linux and/or RTOS environments.
Familiarity with AD/ADAS systems and automotive compute platforms.
Understanding of SoC architectures, memory subsystems, interconnects, and hardware-software interactions.
Practical experience integrating application software with platform-level services on embedded targets.
Strong debugging, profiling, and analysis skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and across multiple software layers.
Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
Experience with PCs and application software such as MS Office tools.
NVIDIA Drive OS and toolchain experience is preferred.

Domestic and international travel may be required, including occasional travel to multiple global locations.
The role requires sitting or standing for long periods and may occasionally involve lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
