Responsibilities
- Develop an automotive SoC software platform supporting high-performance compute systems and standard SoC interfaces.
- Perform BSP porting, device-driver development, platform integration, and support for POSIX operating systems, QNX, Linux, AUTOSAR, hypervisors, and container engines.
- Integrate automotive sensors including cameras, radar, lidar, sonar, and inertial sensors for AD/ADAS applications.
- Manage image processing, image transfer, video input/output, system partitioning, memory management, and platform security capabilities.
- Lead, mentor, and support software engineers while conducting team meetings and performance reviews.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, budgets, risks, compliance, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, product engineers, and other stakeholders to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support project development as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of overall experience, including at least 4 years of SoC platform development and 3 years in automotive, ADAS, or other low-level embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with SoC architecture, BSPs, POSIX systems, Adaptive AUTOSAR, SoC drivers, operating-system internals, multithreading, inter-process communication, and memory management.
- Experience with hypervisors, container engines, middleware, ADAS technology stacks, image processing, and video input/output handling.
- Understanding of Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR, continuous integration and continuous delivery, CPU/GPU architectures, and automotive platform development.
- Knowledge of SDV enablers, zonal networks, central compute modules, automated driving, machine learning, perception modules, connected mobility, MLOps, and OTA updates.
- Leadership experience building, mentoring, and guiding high-performing software engineering teams.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Drive OS, hypervisor virtual platforms, V-Model, ASPICE, MISRA, ISO 26262, cybersecurity, cryptographic algorithms, and authentication methods is preferred.
- Ability to read schematics, electrical block diagrams, and IC datasheets.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, collaboration, and independent-work skills.
- Experience with PCs and application software such as Microsoft Office tools.
