  • Deploy and optimize AI/ML models, including ADAS perception models, LLMs, and VLA models, on embedded automotive SoCs.
  • Profile inference pipelines and tune kernels and model graphs across heterogeneous compute resources for real-time use.
  • Develop orchestration and scheduling approaches for AI workloads under real-time, power, and thermal constraints.
  • Apply model optimization and compression techniques while preserving accuracy and intended behavior.
  • Evaluate trade-offs among accuracy, latency, throughput, memory footprint, and energy consumption, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Diagnose deployment issues and define validation approaches for new techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition advanced work into the production stack.
  • Work across multiple software layers and provide technical communication and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to support project development as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or relevant industrial experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with a master’s degree or at least 1 year with a Ph.D.
  • Knowledge of AD/ADAS systems and automotive hardware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of deep learning fundamentals and the numerical behavior of neural networks.
  • Hands-on experience with major ML frameworks and inference runtimes.
  • Practical experience with model compression and related accuracy/performance trade-offs.
  • Working knowledge of embedded SoC architectures and their impact on ML workload performance.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, preferably modern C++, and Python.
  • Familiarity with profiling tools and structured performance analysis.
  • Experience with low-level optimization techniques for AI workloads on embedded accelerators.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and across evolving software-layer responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal, written, communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with PCs and application software such as Microsoft Office tools.

Benefits

  • Domestic and international travel may be required, including occasional travel to multiple global locations.
  • The employer provides equal employment opportunity and reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
