Responsibilities
- Lead the migration from the legacy design system to Spark UI and shape its frontend primitives, contracts, and documentation.
- Build AI-ready codebase architecture through clear module boundaries, improved API contracts, semantic context, and structured documentation.
- Design and implement multi-step agent workflows involving tool use, autonomous task execution, and human-gated checkpoints.
- Run experiments with real users, evaluate results, and iterate based on evidence and learning velocity.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define user-focused product solutions.
- Mentor teammates, conduct code reviews and pair programming, and share knowledge across the organization.
- Improve frontend architecture and performance while helping establish reliable evaluation systems for AI-assisted development.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of experience building web applications.
- Experience building single-page applications with JavaScript and React.
- Experience with TypeScript and continuous or progressive delivery using feature flags is welcome.
- Strong understanding of functional programming principles and confidence designing frontend architecture.
- Passion for frontend performance and well-configured development editors and tooling.
- Experience mentoring teammates, conducting code reviews, and pair programming.
- Ability to bring product thinking to engineering work and explain user impact.
- Experience using AI coding assistants and interest in agent-native architecture.
- Experience as a founding engineer or founder, rapid 0-to-1 prototyping experience, production agentic-systems experience, or deep experience with multi-step LLM workflows is a strong fit.
- Must have the legal right to work in the EU.
