Responsibilities
- Build onboarding flows and in-product guides that accelerate user activation.
- Develop AI-driven growth experiments, including smart setup helpers, personalized onboarding, and AI suggestions.
- Improve monetization and retention features across the product.
- Lead high-impact growth experiments with product, design, data, and engineering partners.
- Ship full-stack product features and set technical direction for AI-first product engineering.
- Design and implement agent workflows with multi-step reasoning, tool use, autonomous task execution, and human-gated checkpoints.
- Improve codebase architecture, API contracts, semantic context, and documentation so AI agents can work effectively.
- Run experiments with real users and iterate based on evidence and measured learning velocity.
- Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the organization.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of professional engineering experience working across frontend and backend systems.
- Experience thinking about activation, conversion, retention, and business impact.
- Experience collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and analysts.
- Strong product thinking and the ability to explain why technical work matters to users.
- Comfort with ambiguity, experimentation, rapid learning, and iteration.
- Experience using AI coding assistants and iterating on prompts in daily engineering workflows.
- Interest in agent-native architecture, including codebases, APIs, and documentation designed for AI agents.
- Strong fit for candidates who are former founders or founding engineers, 0-to-1 builders, or have built production agentic systems or multi-step LLM workflows involving tool use, memory, and orchestration.
