Responsibilities
- Define and evolve frontend architecture patterns, shared capabilities, component libraries, and scalable UI systems across multiple teams.
- Drive adoption of shared frontend platforms, frameworks, tooling, standards, and reusable solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and influence technical direction across product and platform engineering teams without direct authority.
- Establish and improve standards for performance, accessibility, testing, observability, monitoring, reliability, and user experience.
- Lead cross-team efforts addressing technical debt, frontend risks, scalability challenges, and system evolution.
- Mentor senior engineers, facilitate technical alignment, and lead critical initiatives spanning multiple teams or domains.
Requirements
- Require 8–12 years of software engineering experience with deep frontend development expertise.
- Require expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Require extensive experience with React or similar frameworks in large-scale applications.
- Require strong expertise in frontend architecture, design systems, scalable UI development, and shared component libraries or frontend platforms.
- Require deep understanding of browser internals, rendering, performance optimization, and frontend standards.
- Require experience translating product and design needs into scalable technical solutions and influencing technical direction without direct authority.
- Require experience with modern frontend tooling, cloud environments, and large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Prefer experience with design systems at scale, micro-frontend or modular frontend architectures, frontend security considerations, AI-assisted development tools such as Codex or Cursor, developer experience, platform engineering, and frontend modernization initiatives.
