Base Salary
$188k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assess business and customer requirements, identify gaps and risks, and contribute to user stories and solution designs.
- Develop and configure application components using appropriate languages, frameworks, standards, and tools.
- Build automation scripts and CI/CD processes, implement telemetry, and apply security requirements.
- Create and execute test cases, perform unit, integration, regression, and other testing, and resolve defects.
- Troubleshoot application performance, availability, and production issues while conducting complex maintenance and re-engineering.
- Monitor applications using logs, metrics, and observability tools, evaluate change requests, and track project milestones.
Requirements
- A relevant master’s degree or equivalent plus one year of software engineering experience, or a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus three years of experience.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful backend services with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with scalable microservices, SQL schema and query design, NoSQL databases, Redis, and authentication using OAuth2, JWT, and LDAP.
- Experience developing frontend applications with ReactJS, Redux, HTML, CSS, and Next.js.
- Experience writing Jest and Mocha tests and building Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying and maintaining services with AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Unix/Linux, Grafana, Splunk, Java, and Git.
- Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating cross-functionally, and troubleshooting production systems; the employer accepts any amount of experience with the required skills.
