Base Salary
$209k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
- Build consultative customer relationships and collaborate with product teams on customer-focused architectures.
- Lead the architectural sales motion aligned with Cisco’s technology strategy and customer business drivers.
- Identify opportunities and design future-state architectures and Cisco technical strategies.
- Develop creative architectural solutions for customer business problems.
- Deliver or support technical presentations and explain business relevance to executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Relevant networking, telecommunications, or datacenter industry experience and Cisco product experience or relevant competitor-product experience.
- Pre-sales experience with baseline Solutions Engineer/Solutions Architect skills and in-depth knowledge of Data Center, Security, or Route/Switch/Wireless technology.
- Excellent technical consulting skills, including defining trade-offs, asking probing questions, and incorporating Cisco solutions into broader technology environments.
- BS/BA or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications and technical aptitude are preferred.
- Enterprise and manufacturing customer experience is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication, listening, presentation, and problem-solving skills are preferred.
Benefits
- Starting salary range is $209,100.00 to $275,100.00, with applicable location-specific ranges also provided; sales-plan employees may receive performance-based incentive pay.
