Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain front-end features using TypeScript, Next.js, and RailsJS.
- Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to deliver intuitive, cohesive user interfaces.
- Ensure the platform is scalable, performant, and high quality.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Optimize front-end application performance and user experience.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical learning and excellence.
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow software development best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of front-end development experience with strong TypeScript proficiency.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Next.js and React.
- Knowledge of server-side rendering and web performance optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Vercel and front-end CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with API integration and web application architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and remote teamwork skills.
- Experience with RailsJS or Ruby on Rails is preferred.
- Familiarity with image processing solutions such as Cloudinary and error monitoring tools such as Bugsnag is preferred.
- Understanding of back-end technologies and experience in startup or fast-paced environments are preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira is preferred.
- Interest in mentoring and knowledge sharing is preferred.
