Base Salary
$80k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain production software and generative AI agent experiences.
- Build React front ends that customers use to access AI agents.
- Create production Python services and LLM agents with tool calling using Google Agent Development Kit or LangChain.
- Design, test, version, and evaluate prompts and measure changes in output quality.
- Work with large distributed and multi-agent systems, including their orchestration.
- Run AI systems in production on Google Cloud, monitoring latency, cost, output quality, and safety.
- Secure services with authentication and authorization and support application resilience, performance, monitoring, and production outcomes.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and principal engineers and help ensure user stories are valuable, ready, understandable, and testable.
- Develop functional and destructive test suites to support rapid production deployment.
- Improve the team's AI-first development system and share research and lessons learned.
- Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least three years of work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field.
- Must be at least eighteen years of age.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Experience writing production Python services.
- Experience building LLM agents with Google Agent Development Kit or LangChain, including tool calling.
- Experience designing, testing, and versioning prompts and measuring prompt effectiveness.
- Experience with large distributed systems, especially orchestrated multi-agent systems.
- Experience running AI systems in production on Google Cloud, including Vertex AI Agent Engine or a similar agent runtime.
- Experience tracking latency, cost, output quality, and safety and securing services with authentication and authorization.
