Responsibilities
- Own the overall health, performance, capacity, and SLA compliance of gaming platform services.
- Monitor and manage core gaming platform systems and resolve critical or complex problems.
- Build and manage infrastructure services and applications through automation.
- Develop infrastructure strategy, processes, support procedures, and standardization efforts.
- Develop, configure, and optimize service and application monitoring and telemetry.
- Build tools that improve deployment speed and monitoring effectiveness in large-scale environments.
- Support new product feature rollouts and installations.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure platforms are designed for operability.
- Maintain and regularly update CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience as an SRE or DevOps engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience running multi-node, multi-tier web application architectures and maintaining long-lived APIs and microservices.
- Experience with persisted key/value stores such as ETCD or Redis.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins for continuous integration.
- Experience with Argo CD for continuous deployment.
- Senior-level experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Helmfile, and OpenShift.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
- Senior-level experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka for message streaming or queuing.
