Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Drupal pages, content structures, templates, and reusable components for digital platforms and knowledge portals.
- Translate information architecture, UX designs, and content models into Drupal content types, taxonomies, menus, views, and publishing patterns.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, content designers, business analysts, communications specialists, and other multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Support editorial workflows, content governance, page publishing, quality assurance, multilingual delivery, accessibility, and localisation activities.
- Participate in iterative delivery, pilot feedback, stakeholder validation, and refinement of platform components.
- Apply Git-based collaboration, configuration management, code review, documentation, and release discipline.
- Contribute Drupal-related assumptions, implementation considerations, technical clarifications, reusable delivery patterns, CMS standards, and capability development.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on Drupal development or site-building experience, including at least 3 years of professional Drupal web development experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of Drupal content types, taxonomy, menus, views, roles and permissions, configuration management, and CMS publishing workflows.
- Experience with PHP, Twig, Composer, Drush, Git, and modern Drupal delivery practices.
- Experience delivering content-heavy platforms, portals, knowledge sites, digital toolkits, or public-facing web services.
- Ability to collaborate in distributed, cross-functional teams and explain technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of accessibility, usability, performance, security, and maintainability considerations in web delivery.
- Fluency in English at C1 level.
- Preferred qualifications include international public-sector delivery experience, Drupal 9, Drupal 10 or Drupal 11 knowledge, multilingual Drupal experience, digital service design or content architecture knowledge, Drupal certification, open-source contribution, a strong Drupal portfolio, and additional EU languages.
