Base Salary
$220k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a sandboxing platform for untrusted code execution.
- Define and extend RBAC and authorization primitives for scalability.
- Own backend services for authentication and encryption, collaborating with Security and Infra teams.
- Set technical standards for backend design, focusing on reliability and observability.
- Partner with product and AI teams to establish platform interfaces and SLAs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing and building production backend systems.
- Strong system design skills with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Hands-on experience with modern infrastructure technologies like AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on solving technical problems.
- Comfort in security-sensitive areas like authentication and encryption.
