Responsibilities
- Develop, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications while creating Python/PySpark and SQL/NoSQL automation frameworks.
- Build scalable automation frameworks and test suites across multiple technologies.
- Develop generative AI automation solutions using AI/ML frameworks.
- Create and maintain test plans, procedures, scripts, and product-level integration tests.
- Implement, execute, and debug automated test scripts and perform manual testing across service functionality.
- Build, evolve, and maintain continuous build and deployment pipelines with quality and development engineers.
- Deploy application components through CI/CD pipelines and build utilities for monitoring and repetitive-function automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, infrastructure, technology operations, and external clients.
- Research and evaluate software products and development tools.
- Provide technical guidance through code reviews, testing support, and software documentation.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of applicable software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with cloud and big-data automation testing, Python, PySpark, machine learning, SQL, Hive, Databricks, Airflow, UI and service testing, and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience creating scalable cloud test automation frameworks and API/microservice automation.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience validating UI and services functionally.
- AI/ML and AI/ML framework validation experience is preferred.
- Experience with Selenium, TestNG, and Java is preferred.
- Experience with LoadRunner or JMeter for performance testing is preferred.
- Experience with GitHub, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Docker is preferred.
- Retail-domain experience is preferred.
- Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, learning, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
