Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GTM leadership, Account Executives, and account teams to design and execute Lakebase engagement and adoption strategies across a territory.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and Lakebase champion for customer stakeholders, including technical executives.
- Develop and deliver presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and customer-facing technical collateral.
- Influence Product and Engineering roadmaps by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations.
- Serve as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
- Coordinate with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database and OLTP experience across engineering, product development, administration, pre-sales, or consulting, including client-facing solution delivery.
- 10+ years in customer-facing roles influencing technical executives, data strategy, and product adoption.
- Expertise in integrating transactional data systems with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
- Infrastructure, platform, and administration experience with disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and system migrations.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two areas including data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- Experience co-planning large territories with Account Executives and coordinating cross-functional GTM and R&D efforts.
- A track record of completing complex projects in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
