Base Salary
$200k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop scalable, maintainable REST API endpoints.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to build responsive, user-centric web applications.
- Define data models and database schemas and manage relational or NoSQL databases.
- Document application architecture, design, configuration, and maintenance processes.
- Provide task estimates and delivery timelines for sprint planning and execution.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to production issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and support a collaborative culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience working with medium or large complex codebases.
- Professional experience in full-stack development.
- Experience with one or more of Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- High proficiency in HTML, CSS, the JavaScript ecosystem, and familiarity with frameworks and tools such as React, Angular, Ember, Jest, Babel, and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least three years of proven experience in lieu of a degree, listed as a preferred qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Preferred experience with database management, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, React best practices, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SAFe and Scrum.
