Responsibilities
- Build and own end-to-end frontend and backend contributions to Blackpoint Cyber’s cybersecurity platform.
- Lead projects across TypeScript, Golang, React, Node.js, and Kubernetes-hosted services.
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance, secure full-stack solutions from the database layer through the user interface.
- Optimize system performance, scale, resiliency, and code quality using AI-assisted development tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to define technical solutions and communicate progress.
- Mentor other engineers and lead them through complex projects.
- Lead sprint planning and break down large initiatives.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of industry experience in full-stack development.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and Golang, including microservices on Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript and modern frontend architecture and design patterns.
- Experience designing and consuming REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
- Expertise architecting scalable full-stack solutions and balancing performance across database and UI layers.
- Strong database design, performance tuning, and indexing experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud capabilities including storage, messaging, logging, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
- Understanding of secure APIs, sensitive data handling, OAuth, and JWT authentication and authorization.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and leading sprint planning.
- Comfort adopting AI-assisted coding, review, and testing tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and mentoring abilities.
- Preferred experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, Kafka, Prometheus, Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS, and internationalization or localization frameworks.
