Responsibilities
- Lead application systems analysis, programming, and development activities in coordination with technology teams.
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deliver products and process improvements.
- Design and develop applications using Java, Spring Boot microservices, JavaScript, Angular, React, and distributed data technologies.
- Establish coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and application design standards aligned with the architecture blueprint.
- Resolve complex, high-impact business and system problems through detailed analysis and innovative solutions.
- Advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Support highly available, highly scalable, multi-channel shared services for Citi’s corporate banking clients.
- Assess and manage risk, maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations, and safeguard the firm, clients, and assets.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of development experience.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Hands-on Red Hat OpenShift or equivalent cloud platform development experience.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design, Spring Boot microservices, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and REST/JSON development.
- Experience with micro-frontend design and development using Node.js, Angular, and React.
- Experience with MongoDB distributed databases and Couchbase distributed caching.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies and tools including GitHub Enterprise, Lightspeed, Release On Demand, SonarQube, COIN, and Elastic Stack.
- Experience with enterprise containers, Docker images, Kafka, GitHub Copilot, CodeBuddy, JIRA, Figma, TeamCity, Harness, Gradle or Maven, SecureAssist, Checkmarx, Renovate, JUnit, and NUnit.
- Experience working in a scaled Agile environment involving PI planning and continuous release and deployment cycles.
- Advanced application programming knowledge and the ability to lead complex technical initiatives and coach other developers.
