Base Salary
$160k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable Neural Simulation systems, including closed-loop simulation and log augmentation workflows.
- Develop services and data pipelines that process and manage large-scale data.
- Build infrastructure for ML training, evaluation, validation, and model inference workflows.
- Implement and optimize storage for structured, unstructured, and multimodal data such as sensor data, 3D data, and logs.
- Improve reliability, observability, and performance across distributed services.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, autonomy, research, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Own features and components from design through deployment and contribute to architecture discussions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience shipping production software.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience building backend services or data pipelines and working with SQL, NoSQL, or data lake storage systems.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerized systems such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Backend development experience with languages such as Python and Go.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems at scale, ML training and serving infrastructure, GPU workloads, and batch orchestration.
- Preferred familiarity with synthetic data generation, data augmentation, computer vision, 3D reconstruction, sensor simulation, autonomous driving, or robotics systems.
