Responsibilities
- Design, implement, scale, and maintain code powering production systems.
- Build and support real-time distributed systems with low-latency responses and requests.
- Integrate APIs and work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, testing frameworks, and legacy Python code.
- Contribute to research and development of next-generation Cint products.
- Manage system complexity, demonstrate ownership, solve difficult problems, and collaborate with and mentor teammates.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on professional backend software development experience.
- Strong experience with real-time distributed systems and low-latency responses and requests.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong Java programming skills; experience with C/C++, Scala, Ruby, Rust, or Go is also considered.
- Comfort maintaining legacy Python code.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, API integration, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL.
- Spring framework and microservices experience are nice to have.
- Background in data analytics tools such as Spark, Hive, or Databricks is a nice to have.
