Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex systems using React, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and workflow technologies.
- Implement scalable, reliable, and high-performing microservices-based solutions.
- Integrate applications with workflow and rules engines.
- Perform code reviews, static code analysis, and performance optimization.
- Lead or co-lead small development teams and deliver complex technology projects.
- Use authentication, authorization, caching, and test automation technologies to support application quality and performance.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while bridging technical and business teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive software development experience, including experience leading or co-leading small development teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong Java programming and workflow technology experience.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, TypeScript, Apache Camel, OpenShift, Hibernate, JPA, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, and relevant authentication technologies.
- Strong understanding of microservices and software development best practices.
- Experience with OAuth2, JWT, HashiCorp Vault, and Citi's COIN for authentication and authorization.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, REST Assured, Cucumber, or Selenium.
- Preferred exposure to API gateways, service discovery, distributed tracing, workflow tools such as Pega, rules engines, Fenergo, and code quality tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and risk-management skills.
