Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend Python solutions for private cloud platform orchestration.
- Develop automation for development, testing, build processes, and cloud-native services.
- Design and develop API endpoints and discreet software components using appropriate software development principles.
- Analyze data, investigate routine and complex issues, and introduce components or features to resolve problems.
- Document delivery quality and contribute technical and analytical expertise to project issue resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and support managers, principals, and technical experts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a backend Python software developer, preferably with 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, version control, collaborative development workflows, and API development.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, protocols, and technologies is a plus.
- Experience with Ansible, Napalm, Nornir, or network management systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with telecom concepts including OSS/BSS, network provisioning, and service orchestration is a plus.
- Understanding of cloud-native web application development, software development lifecycles, Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery.
- Ability to analyze technically challenging situations, debug complex issues, collaborate effectively, and promote strong engineering practices.
