Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously improve software for Amazon Warehousing and Distribution supply chain products.
- Design and build scalable transactional backend systems, optimization solutions, customer-facing applications, and APIs.
- Collaborate with engineers and users to deliver code continuously and improve customer experience.
- Apply software design patterns, reliability, scaling principles, coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
