Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Participate in technical design sessions and identify and document technical solutions.
- Develop microservices using AWS serverless architecture.
- Design and implement REST and event-based services and APIs.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, users, technical teams, and senior management.
- Improve system efficiency, flexibility, performance, availability, and customer trust.
- Provide technical direction to junior engineers.
- Support legacy code while building future-state systems and solutions.
- Contribute to team culture, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–8 years of hands-on development experience using modern programming languages, including NodeJS and Python.
- Experience designing and implementing REST and event-based services with AWS services including Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Experience implementing and supporting SaaS or cloud software solutions and integrating functionality with internal systems.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, IAM, STS, and RDS.
- Experience with non-relational and multiple relational database platforms.
- Experience developing and deploying APIs.
- Experience building infrastructure with CloudFormation Templates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a history of working in an Agile development environment.
- Creative and analytical problem-solving ability focused on translating complex business problems into sound technical solutions.
- Preferred: lending or financial services domain experience.
- Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification.
- Preferred: experience with Scrum, SAFe, and Test-Driven Development.
- Preferred: experience communicating technical requirements, software features, technical designs, and product strategy to users, technical teams, and senior management.
