Responsibilities
- Complete individual project priorities, deadlines, and solutions.
- Build pipelines that support the ingestion, analysis, and enrichment of financial data.
- Improve the existing pipeline to increase the throughput and accuracy of data.
- Work with data analysts to map general financial concepts to internal data models.
- Understand data models and schemas, and recommend extensions and changes.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to design, test, and implement new processes.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Professional software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with Python, Apache Spark/PySpark, Java/Spring, and AWS.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Interest in data modeling, visualization, and ETL pipelines.
- Knowledge of financial concepts is encouraged but not necessary.
