Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain core components in Trino and Starburst platforms.
- Research and improve performance of the Trino query engine on complex queries.
- Collaborate with team members and other teams globally in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide exceptional customer support for both internal and external customers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience developing distributed systems.
- Software development experience with Java.
- Demonstrated experience with software engineering and design best practices.
- Interest in distributed systems or database internals such as query optimization.
- Intrinsic motivation for improving software engineering craftsmanship.
