Responsibilities
- Deliver enterprise-class NetApp software products.
- Develop solutions involving VMware vSphere, the vCenter plugin API, and virtualized-environment data protection operations.
- Work with cloud-native compute and storage resource APIs, marketplace operations and APIs, and VMware cloud operations.
- Build and work with Linux systems and Docker containers.
- Develop software primarily in Java and Python, with potential use of .NET, PowerShell, and C#.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere, including the vCenter plugin API.
- Knowledge of data protection operations in virtualized environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience with major cloud vendors, cloud-native compute and storage resource APIs, marketplace operations and APIs, and VMware cloud operations.
- Good knowledge of Linux systems and Docker containers.
- Experience with Java and Python; .NET knowledge, including PowerShell and C#, is preferred.
- A minimum of eight years of related experience is typically required for an individual contributor role.
