Responsibilities

  • Partner with analysts and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, assess feasibility, and define solutions through interviews, workshops, and meetings.
  • Design and build end-to-end automation solutions for Lilly’s global Finance organization.
  • Develop solutions according to team standards and best practices and create architecture and design documentation.
  • Create test procedures and scenarios, conduct validations, and support integration testing, end-to-end testing, and UAT.
  • Troubleshoot automation issues, track and repair defects, and support day-to-day business operations.
  • Communicate risks and issues to leadership and provide actionable mitigation recommendations.
  • Support QA, audit, and platform migration activities.
  • Analyze business and technical information, make recommendations, and support or train junior team members.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of programming experience with systems and applications of varying scope and complexity, preferably involving finance and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with Python, PySpark, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively and sometimes serve as the lead technical participant.
  • Ability to handle complex assignments and assume increasing responsibility.
  • Preferred experience with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, SAP, Microsoft Fabric, PySpark notebooks, Delta Lake/OneLake, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and GenAI platforms such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
  • Preferred experience analyzing, debugging, and refactoring legacy code and applying statistical and data-quality or anomaly-detection techniques to business data.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, workflow-analysis, and multitasking skills.

  • Anticipated compensation is €32,250–€84,040, with eligibility for a company bonus depending partly on company and individual performance.
