Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review peer code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their effects on hardware, networks, and service operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least two years of experience building software for data privacy or security, such as identity and access management.
- At least two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year with an advanced degree.
- Experience with a programming language such as C++ or Golang.
- Experience with software design, coding, testing, and debugging.
- Experience with cloud security, cloud identity, cybersecurity, distributed computing, and cloud security concepts and technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with data structures and algorithms, accessible technologies, Google Cloud Platform services, security protocols and technologies, IAM principles, OAuth 2.0, and cloud technologies and runtimes such as Kubernetes, Cloud Run, and load balancers.
