Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CDK across AWS resources such as VPCs, EC2/ECS, load balancing, RDS/Aurora, IAM policies, and security groups.
- Architect highly available, resilient cloud environments with appropriate performance and scalability.
- Develop TypeScript automation tooling to reduce operational toil across cloud and corporate infrastructure.
- Implement policy-as-code guardrails that enable safe and independent application deployments.
- Manage cloud financial operations, including cost optimization, budget tracking, and resource attribution.
- Lead disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and routine testing exercises.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while collaborating across teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Platform Engineering.
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK, including module development, state management, and automated deployment workflows.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2/ECS, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch, plus Kubernetes cluster management with EKS.
- Experience with build automation and CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and zero-trust platforms such as Zscaler.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize deadlines, solve complex analytical problems, and build cross-functional consensus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty preferred.
