Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain infrastructure supporting machine learning development and deployment.
  • Develop Python-based REST API and gRPC applications for deploying models as APIs.
  • Build end-to-end model inference, backend, and data pipelines on cloud infrastructure.
  • Integrate SQL and NoSQL databases with the software platform.
  • Deploy machine learning models using model registries and MLOps frameworks.
  • Monitor production models, analyze drift, and maintain model performance.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML-based backend artifacts.
  • Containerize backend applications and deploy them on Kubernetes.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure, databases, performance, and costs on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Create unit and stress testing frameworks for production cloud infrastructure services.
  • Monitor customer-usage logs and test products for vulnerabilities.
  • Document processes, conduct code reviews, and collaborate on product roadmap planning and platform enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and five years of experience.
  • A master's degree with three years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the stated bachelor's-degree experience requirement.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and debugging web technologies and server architectures.
  • Experience coding, testing, and developing with Python.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience developing backend applications, API integrations, and cloud-based data pipelines handling customer data.
  • Experience using and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services on Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
